Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Sentio Counseling Center provides governance and strategic direction for our nonprofit organization. The Board is committed to ensuring that Sentio continues to fulfill its mission of providing accessible, high-quality mental health services to residents throughout California. As a nonprofit counseling center, Sentio operates with full transparency and accountability to the communities we serve, and our Board plays a central role in upholding these values.
Sentio Counseling Center is the only counseling center in California that integrates Deliberate Practice and clinical outcome data into every level of its operations, from counselor training and supervision to direct client care. This commitment to data-driven quality improvement is a core part of our nonprofit mission, and the Board of Directors helps ensure that these standards remain at the center of everything we do. Sentio is also proudly affiliated with Sentio University, a nonprofit graduate university in Los Angeles, which provides a pipeline of well-trained clinicians through its Marriage and Family Therapy MA program.
Through the leadership of our Board, Sentio Counseling Center has grown to serve clients across every region of California, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland, Long Beach, Fresno, Riverside, Bakersfield, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Irvine, Pasadena, Stockton, Orange County, Ventura County, Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and Santa Barbara County. Our nonprofit model allows us to offer sliding scale therapy starting at $15, ensuring that income is never a barrier to receiving professional mental health support.
